So you'd think after all the busyness and excitement and Animals Gone Wild episode I'd be so tired I would just crash like a sack-o-potatoes, but alas no. I haven't tossed and turned so much in ages. Oh well, I don't need to sleep. Maybe if I'm exhausted enough I'll be so tired when I get to Korea that I'll sleep like a baby and get used to the time change right away.
So we left around 9:30 this morning, after I took some pics of Aunt Barbara's dogs. One is Siggy, he's a very old golden retriever who is just the sweetest thing to ever walk on four legs.
And some more of Sparky, her one year old Corgie who's quite possibly the busiest thing on four legs.
The drive went well. Long, and boring, the best kind. Ohio was straight and flat. Pennsylvania is curvy and hilly. I definitely think Pennsylvania is prettier than Ohio. Sorry Ohio. So we're here in White Haven for the night. We thought we had about 5 hours left of our drive, but turns out we have only about 3! So tomorrow will be a really short trip compared to today.
I started a book earlier called A Single Shard. It's a Newberry Award winning book (oh how I love children's lit!) and I'm almost done with it. So long drives are good for something! Ok, time to go email the folks, finish my book, and hope that I can sleep even though I'm sleeping in a double bed with Aunt Barbara when I'm used to sleeping all alone. If I have huge dark circles under my eyes for the wedding and look like I haven't slept in four days, well, it's cause I haven't. :P
